Where to begin with this wintery wedding?
Formal and decadent, but peppered with unique flourishes, take a peek at Anouska and Greig's divine Buckinghamshire wedding.
The Venue - Danesfield House
Luxury and Glam are two words that leap to mind for this couple's wedding day, and a huge part of that is down to the gorgeous venue- Danesfield House. A stunning Country House located between Marlow and Henley-on-Thames, it makes for a beautifully grande setting for your day. Think lavish but traditional decor and some truly spectacular gardens and grounds - the view is off-the-scale amazing!
Our fave bit is the pink reception room. What could be more magical than saying your 'I Do's' in this rosie-hued setting?
The Look and Feel
Anouska is an interior designer, so it’s no surprise her wedding was styled to perfection.
This wonderful couple decorated their big day with delightfully quirky yet stylish details, adding their own flair to a luxury look. The day oozed vintage glamour, yet was completely bespoke and individual to them as a couple. We really love the wintery tree-lined aisle, Anouska’s gorgeous bridal fashion accessories (an ostrich feather shawl and boho-chic headband), and a sequin-bird-topped cake. Grieg and Anouska really made sure their’s would be a wedding their guests could never forget, with a live gospel choir at the ceremony and a spectacular fireworks display to finish the day with.
Anouska and Greig's Top Tip
The one piece of advice they’d pass onto couples planning their big day is to cut down your numbers so that you can spend your budget making sure your day extra special for you and those you love most.
This lovely wedding was beautifully captured by the oh-so-talented photographer, Samie Lee. Based in Berkshire, Samie Lee is a true storyteller who promises to capture the magic of your wedding, no matter the venue. From a warehouse in London, to the beaches of Ibiza, a tent in the English countryside or your local pub, her photos are natural, authentic and above all, beautiful.
